Forum Experiences from Partners of Survivors
I continue to be grateful for this site and for this community. Writing here, and getting feedback, has helped me to set boundaries that needed to be set Please know that you are not alone in this struggle. This site is a great place to raise questions, share insights, or just vent frustration.
I've found this site to be extremely helpful in finding my way through the difficulties of being a partner of a sexual abuse survivor. Wow, two supportive comments already. I am excited that I found this supportforpartners site. I have been feeling alone for awhile.
This site has been a tremendous help in me not drowning in my own guilt which would have just sunk the ship of my marriage.  It allowed me to understand that as partner of survivors we must educate ourselves and surround yourself with a support system where you can say "I am not the only one". That alone goes a long way.
